  • Jason Aldean finds his own path to the big leagues

Jason Aldean always wanted to play at Fenway Park, maybe first base or elsewhere in the infield. That’s finally going to happen, but with a twist. He’ll be there this summer at a microphone with a guitar slung around his shoulder wearing a cowboy hat and boots. When the country superstar comes to Fenway Park, July 12-13, he arrives as one of the summer’s most hotly anticipated acts. Bonnie Tyler on why 2013 is the right time to do Eurovision, her high hopes for her first hit album since 1983, and why she likes Botox, makeup and false eyelashes – but not facelifts

In 1983, when Bonnie Tyler was first asked to represent Britain at the Eurovision song contest, she turned it down. She was rapidly approaching the height of her career: her single Total Eclipse of the Heart had gone to No 1 in the UK and later that year would hit the top of the charts in the US. To do Eurovision on top of that, "I didn't think it was fair! It just didn't seem right," she says, bright blue eyes widening under thick false lashes. "But now is the perfect time."
