Abstract

Christina María Aguilera (born December 18, 1980) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Aguilera rose to prominence as a bubblegum pop singer in the 1990s, her self-titled debut album (1999) debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, and spawned the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles “Genie in a Bottle”, “What a Girl Wants”, and “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)”. In 2010, Aguilera released her electronic-inspired sixth studio album, Bionic, although it made little commercial impact. Later that year, Aguilera starred alongside Cher in the film Burlesque. In 2011, Aguilera became an original coach on the U.S. television series The Voice, and has since appeared on four of its six seasons. That year, she earned her fifth number-one single in the United States with her… (read the complete article at Wikipedia)
