Nocturnes, which was produced by DFA's Tim Goldsworthy, is full of big electropop songs for people who can knowingly tap a toe to Kraftwerk, Saint Etienne and New Order. "Everything's changed. I've been caught up in a lie," she purrs in the superbly airy Confusion, just one of several lines that may or may not be aimed at her former employers.
