    The 2013 season of Lincoln Center's free Out of Doors festival happens from July 24 to August 11 at various outdoor venues in and around Lincoln Center. The centerpiece of this year's season is "KRONOS at 40" which is being dubbed "a festival in a festival," with 12 performances happening between July 24 - 28. is a series of events in collaboration with The Kronos Quartet. They include premieres and commissioned work by Kronos Quartet; Mark Dendy Dance & Theater Projects; Red, Hot + FELA LIVE!; Superhuman Happiness; Mariana Sadovska; Jherek Bischoff; Dan Deacon; Amon Tobin and performances by Asphalt Orchestra (performing The Pixies' Surfer Rosa); My Brightest Diamond; Emily Wells; The Gloaming; Found Sound Nation; Dan Zanes; Ozomatli, and more.

  • Tom Morello, Jello Biafra, Lee Ranaldo, My Brightest Diamond & more playing Occupy Wall St. anniversary concert TODAY

    In recognition of Occupy Wall Street's first anniversary there will be a concert, from the Occupy Guitarmy folks who are looking to educate Jay-Z to the OWS cause outside his first show at the Barclays Center, will be held in New York's Foley Square today (9/16) featuring Tom Morello, Jello Biafra, Michelle Shocked, Lee Ranaldo, Das Racist's Kool A.D., My Brightest Diamond, and more.

    The concert starts at 1 PM, following at march from the West Village and will be an open jam, playing classic protest songs like Woodie Gutherie's "This Land Is Your Land," Florence Reece's "Which Side Are You On?" as well as more modern sing-a-longs like Cee lo Green's "Fuck You."
