    Brooklyn punks Worriers wrapped up a tour with Against Me! last month, and now they're in the studio with AM! singer Laura Jane Grace working on the followup to 2013's Don Giovanni-released Cruel Optimist. LJG is producing, and among the musicians playing on the record is drummer Mikey Erg.

    Worriers are on board for the upcoming She Shreds Magazine NYC showcase (hosted by Don Giovanni Records) happening April 3 at Knitting Factory. It's a great lineup all around with Mirah, Slothrust, Aye Nako, Mal Blum and DJ SAD 13 (aka Speedy Ortiz's Sadie Dupuis). Tickets are on sale now.

She's recently announced yet another batch of dates, this time playing a set of living rooms which are all taking place in secret locations across the northeast. The tour kicks off in Brooklyn on December 8 in Ditmas Park, and also hits Woodstock, Jersey City, and other cities. Tickets are currently on sale for all dates.     Brooklyn's suppliers of gothic country, O'Death, have a new album, Out of Hands We Go, coming out on October 7 via Northern Spy. That album's brand new single, "Roam," is layered with creepily festive instrumentation and given raw, lo-fi production courtesy of producer Caleb Mulkerin, who's gotten similar sounds for Big Blood.
